Move from Zephyr to TestRail
Export the test cases you want to migrate in Excel format. Follow the guide for your Zephyr product:
Create matching templates and custom fields in TestRail, then map your Zephyr fields to the appropriate TestRail fields. Convert the prepared Excel file to CSV before importing it. Zephyr Scale users may need separate files for Plain Text, Step-by-Step, and BDD–Gherkin templates. Plan separately for attachments and other data not included in the export.
In TestRail, select Test Cases > Import Cases > Import from CSV. Choose the destination and template, map your columns, and review the import preview. Validate a representative sample before migrating the complete repository, then address any unsupported content separately.
